List of Players : Azhar, Azman, Bahar, Bangkai, Bob, Embi, Manteck, Matad, Pakcik, Pak Lah and Yot.
Azhar, Matad's fren is apparently the new first choice keeper..hahaha..Meanwhile Azman is a fellow Gooner who was supposed to send a team of his own, but cancelled, so I roped him in..more on this later.
Ladies category..4 teams took part.
User Friendly, No Name, Bonito A and Bonito B.
User Friendly and No Name reached the final where User Friendly emerged champions.
Men's category..8 teams took part
Jenan98, Tok Jinjang A, Tok Jinjang B, Duang FC, Sayur FC, You Sure or Not FC, King Raptor and De Calcio.
Jenan98 beat Tok Jinjang A in the final. Meanwhile, Duang FC beat Sayur FC to finish 3rd.
Congrats to the champions and everyone who made it a worthwhile event. Thanks a million from us and sorry for segala kekurangan.
There are some things I would like to explain/clarify/story to everyone.
1. From the very first day the concept of this tournament was thought of, for FIFI 1, it was always meant to be an event where frens meet and have fun futsalling. A lady fren of mine suggested it and my team agreed and so we organized FIFI 1. Because of the nature of this tourney, prizes mmg x gempak laa, so hopefully, takde org will talk about how lousy the prizes are...mmg diakui lousy, tak payah ckp lagi..hehehe..kat entry form pun kite ada ckp prize apa kan? tp lousy2 pun, i know some ppl appreciate them...dlm tourney cam ni, hadiah x penting...yg penting kite boleh rasa the thrill of competition and kite x tunggu lama2, cam most other tourneys.. jauh lebih lama tunggu dari main. i also worry ppl tink we do this for money...i assure u, kitorang takde untung pun. we all dah organize 3 tourneys, all 3 pun rugi.
2. Also because of the nature of this tourney, we all not that strict. What User Friendly brought up, about the player(s) play for both Bonito A and B teams is correct. that shudn't have happened, but wat can we all do..x kan nak kick them out kan, coz dat wud defeat the purpose of the tourney..but again, User Friendly is correct. hopefully, in the next tourney (kalu ada, InsyaAllah) hopefully, takde org buat cam tu laa..but Bonito dah mintak maap kan, so it's a non-issue.
hehe..tp kan, Tok Jinjang pun buat camtu..tp x sengaja laa...on Friday, in the men's category ada 7 confirmed teams and 2 maybes, tgk2 both those mebbe teams kensel ptg friday tu jugak... cilakak, mana nak cekau satu team lagi ni..nak cukupkan 8 team gak, Tok Jinjang kene antar 2 team laa..tp sebab last minit sgt, x cukup org. we cud only scrounge 8 players. Azman bukan Tok Jinjang, tp he was from one of those teams who cancelled, so I asked him to come. Bahar and Pakcik pulak, cudn't come earlier coz ada kerje. So nak x nak, kenelah some of us play for both teams, A and B. Tapi x jadi isu, coz lelaki lain, pompuan lain..hehe...jgn marah..
3. Pasal ref...kite ada jadual, tp kalu ref rehat lama ker makan ker, camna nak ikut jadual ek? takkan nak marah dia..dah tu pasal ref buat mistake, at least twice pasal score..2-5 dia kata 2-6. tu ok lagi..tp 3-3 dia kata 3-4? adus..isu besar tu. i feel the main problem is kite x communicate ngan ref..patutnya dia tulis kan score, tp dia x tulis..apparently dia ingat kitorang kat luar yg keep score, tp kite kat luar pun kelam-kabut, coz kitorang pun main kan? so this ada kaitan ngan isu kat atas laa...plan asalnyer at least 2 of us don't play, 100% jadi urusetia, tp dah terpaksa main..tu yg kelam kabut tu. neways, i still need to apologise to YSON for the mix-up. tp my mates pun bengang jugak ngan ref tu, masa tu laa..pas tu everything ok.
4. Ada satu team ni main 2 game, kalah, dah tu blah...entry fee pun x bayar lagi..this really saddens me coz dat team ada my gud frens...apa-apa pun, aku kene tagih entry fee tu gak, hopefully u will pay, but i won't ask again. team tu pulak main kasar, sampe ref pun dia sound, and nak gaduh ngan team lain...wadus...this defeats the purpose of FIFI..Friends in Futsal...mebbe dia ingat FIFI tu FOES in Futsal..sori ek geng..teguran ikhlas ni.
5. To all teams (INCLUDING YG CANCEL!!!), ada sebabnyer kite mintak bayar the entry fee awal, not on the day itself. i reiterate this many times, but only 3 teams did pay earlier. tu yg boleh last minit cancel tu and tok jinjang kene antar 2 team, which led to other problems. hopefully next time bole bayar awal...this tourney bukan open punya, tak kisah brp team masuk..kite dah set format mesti 8/4 team masuk, so bile ada cancellation..payahler..
6. This one specially goes out to the ladies...From our experience from FIFI 1 and 2, the ladies have one peculiar thing. Bile kite tanya guys "Nak masuk tourney tak?", the 1st thing they ask is "Bile?"..Ladies bile kite tanya tu, they first ask "apa hadiah?" Waduh, so when they hear of how lousy/unattractive the prize is, they're reluctant. As we mentioned before, bukan kite x bole buat tourney utk lelaki saja. Tapi kan, FIFI 1 was suggested by a lady fren and she promised me dat she wud look for the ladies teams, but in the end, her team pun x masuk and she cudn't find any other teams. Time tu everything dah confirm, hadiah, venue, ref, so I had to look for the ladies teams.
Masa tu we all ingat coz last minit sgt, so susah nak dpt team, tp FIFI 2 kita dah ngtau 1 month in advance and still we had problems. Another lady fren (x payah sebut nama) told me in the beginning, alaa takat 8 team tu, senang jer..tp in the end, 4 team pun payah giler..i'm not blaming this fren, coz i know she tried very hard, but she also faced the same problem as me,
most girls tgk hadiah dulu.
I'm sorry if this is not correct, but this is wat i experienced. i'll be happy if there are many ladies teams out there who want to prove me wrong, then mebbe FIFI 3 will still have a ladies category. For the time being, x sure, yg kite plan guys team ada mebbe 12, tp pompuan, tatau laa...
guys lain..they more willing to enter this type of frenly tourneys coz they don't look at prizes first..they want to enter tourneys for fun, test power, improve as a team...
another thing is, kalu diperati, all the guys teams dr FIFI 1 came back for FIFI 2, tp the ladies? 1 team pun x dtg balik...wat does this mean to u?

Summary...
due to the "kelam kabutness" of organising the event and having to field 2 teams when we didn't have enuff players, we were unable to play to our true capabilites. We barely had enuff to field 1 strong team, and wat strength we had was diluted even more when we had to field 2. Byk org senak ooo, letih main utk 2 team. Also, we are unable to give the goals statistics (at least for now) and all I remember is Azhar keeping a clean sheet in the semis and almost achieving it again in the final itself.
